  • Seeking a candidate with work experience developing / maintaining integrations with with Workday HCM and Time & Absence and Saba learning management system, complex reports, and other HR related interfaces. Also possessing Workday HCM functional / configuration experience is preferred.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work in the Information Technology organization to deliver software solutions within a highly complex and varied system landscape

    • Under project lifecycle methodology, develop integrations - internal and external - between new and existing systems including but not limited to Workday and Saba

    • Gather user requirements, generate design documents / functional specifications, develop programs/interfaces, create and execute test plans

    • Develop, maintain and enforce programming standards; Advise on best practices

    • Provide 3rd tier support for Production issues and coach junior analysts

    • Provide both Workday technical and functional expertise as needed to fellow team members and business superusers

    • Understand business processes and requirements to deliver innovative solutions on time and on budget

    • Lead technical team on HR related projects

    • Project manage small enhancements and initiatives, as needed


    • 6+ years of experience working with Workday, Saba (or equivalent LMS application), integration with third party providers

    • 6+ years of work experience in developing and supporting integrations / programming and other skills including SQL, SQR, Workday Studio, Calc Fields, EIB, Cloud Connect, XSLT, Workday custom reports, web services, and working with encryption methods and SFTP

    • 6+ years experience working in an IT organization: full software development life cycle / project methodology, production change requests, support, understanding of cross-functional impactetc.

    • Functional familiarity and experience with Workday HCM modules

    • Work experience serving as an integration or technical lead on projects, from design to deployment

    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications. Must be able to clearly convey message, thoughts/ideas and explain technical views to diverse audiences (customers, peers, upper management)

    • Must be a team player, highly analytical, have self-initiative, stay current with technological trends


    • Functional familiarity and experience with Workday Time & Absence modules

    • Working knowledge of Saba custom reporting, REST API, UNIX scripting

    • Experiencing managing small projects

    • Certification in PMP, CAPM, and/or ITIL


    • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related study with relevant work experience

    Key Responsibilities

    Analyzes business requirements, converts requirements to functional and technical specifications, and designs cross functional solutions to meet complex business requirements. Participated in new technology evaluations

    Perform and document software application configuration and/or coding, prepare and execute testing (unit, integration, performance, acceptance) and data conversions using standard tools and following established processes and guidelines. May supervise work of contract developers. Perform Quality assurance

    Monitors specific IT systems or set of systems for availability, performance and capabilities and reports anomalies through predefined process. Participate in evaluation and recommendation of patches, point releases, major upgrades and new systems.

    Provides and/or oversees support services to GIS customers for specific IT service or set of services. Adheres to service management processes and procedures to meet customer service level agreements and maintain customer satisfaction. Completes root cause analysis of outages or incident trends (often working with managed services partner). Recommends preventative actions

    Plan and manage projects to ensure effective and efficient execution in line with established processes and guidelines and guardrails of scope, timeline, budget and quality

    Mentors and trains team members in product functionality, development and testing guidelines, tools, and methodologies
