The Senior Accountant will serve as a key player to the Company in ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and our accounting policies and procedures.
The Senior Accountant will liaison with our business unit finance leadership to coordinate compliance activities across the organization.
Primary responsibility for the role include:
Identify, communicate, and implement opportunities to improve controls and operational processes through periodic site audits at various Company locations
Assisting in preparation of quarterly and year-end consolidated financial statements and related footnotes
Reviewing accuracy and completeness of business unit financial data submitted for reporting
Assist with technical accounting research and analysis and providing guidance to other groups within the company
Takes an active role in the global consolidation and analysis process and interacts with local and foreign subsidiaries
Researching and assessing impact of updates to accounting pronouncements
Manage our lease accounting software
Works with internal and external auditors, as necessary
Demonstrating a confident and well-developed communication style, both written and spoken, that establishes credibility and facilitates clear understanding of issues and influence change where appropriate
Participation in a variety of special projects as assigned by management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in accounting from a four-year college or university required
Minimum of three years of work experience, including public accounting experience with a concentration on large public companies
Experience with Lawson, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), CostPoint, SysPro or Oracle preferred
Must be a US person (US citizen, US permanent resident or individual with protected status) due to US export control laws and regulations
