Come build your career with BAE Systems.BAE Systems is looking for a Principal Program Quality Engineer who will be a member of a cross-functional program team as part of the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line which resides in the Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) Business Area. Activities and Responsibilities could include:Review of program contract requirements and develop/implement an effective quality planProvide clear communication and flow down of program quality requirements to all affected disciplines (Engineering, Operations, Program Management)Production Process Verification (PPV)First Article Inspections (FAI)Quality Management Systems AuditsControl of Non Conforming Materials including leading containment and disposition activitiesMaterial Review Board and Failure Review Board participationManufacturing Support for Production Build including Process Review Board, Corrective Action Board and Configuration Control Board participationQuality Assurance Visual Mechanical Inspection (QA VMI)Documentation / Configuration Analysis and ReviewDocumentation Preparation for Customer Presentation / Sell OffPresentation of Product for Customer Acceptance (Sell Off)Driving Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities through to closurePerformance of data review activities to drive continuous improvement/zero defect initiatives_Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status._Required Education, Experience, & Skills+ Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree+ Applies extensive quality expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines+ Material Review Board and Failure Review Board Experience+ Experience leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities+ Experience with AS9102- First Article Inspection+ Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment+ Serves as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans and objectives.
