    Summary

    We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager who will play an important role in developing, managing and executing integrated campaigns to support our brand-to-demand goals across top customer segments. In addition, this role will also support management of the Freeman brand, ensuring a consistent identity, voice and positioning globally.

    In this role you will work on strategic campaigns from audience strategy through to creative execution for our Corporate and Exhibitor segments. You will be responsible for writing creative briefs and managing all facets of campaign work, in partnership with the broader marketing team. Specific responsibilities include: awards, case studies, sales materials, social and website support, and brand implementation across the organization. All aimed at credentialing the business and elevating the brand

    The ideal person will quickly get up to speed on our business landscape, our unique customer segments and Corporate & Exhibitor solutions across our key offerings: strategy, creative, AV, logistics and event technology. In addition, you will have a proven track record of understanding audience needs, developing integrated consumer marketing strategies, delivering compelling creative, and you will have a true passion for events. You will be adept at working across a large and highly complex organization with multiple stakeholders and will be able to deliver campaigns on time and on budget.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop, manage and execute strategic campaigns to drive key business metrics on a quarterly basis.

    • Manage internal and external teams to ensure programs launch on time and on budget.

    • Support the development of key customer-facing messaging and copy that can be used consistently across all integrated marketing channels on a global level.

    • Manage Freeman brand updates, refreshes and requests in collaboration with design team to deliver brand consistency and communicate the visual brand identity.

    • Serve as brand expert.

    • Articulate a vision and write clear, succinct and actionable key campaign documents, including the integrated marketing plan, campaign creative briefs, work back schedules, etc.

    • Seek out and recommend new ways to bring our brand to life and challenge norms.

    • Work closely with key stakeholders, including marketing constituents, subject matter experts and other key business partners to manage campaign development.

    • Always be looking for innovative ways to elevate the Freeman brand against priority audience segments to drive awareness and pipeline.

    • Establish KPIs, and then track, measure and monitor and optimize programs based on effectiveness.

    • Help manage budget forecasting and invoice payments.

    • Leverage superb presentation and storytelling skills, passion, and energy to advocate for the customer internally and externally.

    • Serve as advocate for the customer, ensuring they are at the focus of each and every project.

    Education & Experience

    • 5-8 years of experience in a marketing role, a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; experience directly working in the event ecosystem is a plus.

    • Must have advertising and/or brand and campaign development experience, with a demonstrative portfolio of work.

    • Must know how to get work done within a large and complex organization involving multiple stakeholders.

    • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record, often delivering under tight deadlines and ability to pull insights from various data sources and analytics.

    • Excellent interpersonal communications, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to work well in a team and build relationships with people from a diversity of backgrounds. Outstanding written communication and editing skills, and the ability to simplify complex subject matters.

    • Creative, strategic thinker with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

    • Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
